Dr. Catarina Esteves

Co-founder & Chief schientist

Catarina is a world expert on temperature-sensitive materials. She obtained her MSc and PhD in Chemistry at Aveiro University in Portugal. She is currently Associate Professor of Physical Chemistry at Eindhoven University of Technology. She is (co)author of 52 scientific publications, one patent and several book chapters. She is the inventor of the Sponsh material. Catarina leads the technology development.

Catarina would love to see her invention making an impact in the real world. As well as being a role model for young (female) chemists.
